Bodega Patritti
Patagonia, a life choice
Wines with their own identity from San Patricio del Chañar.

Our roots
From Piedmont to Patagonia
Bodega Patritti’s story began long before its founding in 2003. Its roots lie in Italy’s Piedmont, near the historic Barolo region, where its forebears were involved in vine growing.
That tradition lived on in the family memories of Rubén Patritti, who spent much of his professional career as an engineer in the oil industry without ever losing his passion for wine. During his training years in Mendoza, Rubén experienced Argentine wine culture at first hand. In time, that interest became a calling and ultimately a life project.

A purposeful decision
Why San Patricio del Chañar?
When Rubén Patritti decided to pursue his own winemaking project, he sought a place in which to craft wines with a distinctive identity. He found San Patricio del Chañar: an emerging region with singular natural conditions and enormous potential for viticulture. In 2003, he began to make his dream a reality, placing his faith in an arid, stony landscape which, with dedication and knowledge, could produce wines able to express an identity of their own. Patagonia was not a chance choice, but the place where he chose to bring his passion for wine to life.

A story that continues
A new chapter
Over the years, Bodega Patritti became firmly established as part of Neuquén’s wine-growing development, building an identity of its own and a respected reputation for making Patagonian wines. In 2022, Rubén Patritti and José Pannunzio, brought together by their professional paths and their passion for wine, decided to begin a new chapter for Bodega Patritti. This project is founded on the wish to preserve the winery’s legacy and carry it into the future, combining the identity and prestige of its wines.
Sergio Paredes joined the initiative, contributing his business experience and deep knowledge of the United States market. The coming together of these three professional paths laid the foundations for a new chapter, directed towards a boutique-winery model with a firm commitment to excellence, sustainability and international reach. The project also benefits from the ongoing winemaking work of Nicolás Navío, who has been associated with Bodega Patritti since 2008.

A distinctive terroir
Patagonia leaves its mark
In San Patricio del Chañar, nature provides distinctive conditions for viticulture. The dry climate, wide diurnal range, persistent winds and stony soils all help define the character of its wines.
